White Balloon Release is een klein feestje wat overal georganiseerd kan worden tijdens evenementen, fijne of juist pijnlijke situatie, publieke plaatsen. En dit natuurlijk wel op een milieu vriendelijke manier.
Het werkt als volgt: Een persoon krijgt een witte helium gevulde ballon en een markeerstift waarmee iets op de ballon geschreven of getekend kan worden. om en het vervolgens los te laten.
De eerste editie in was in New York op 14 november 2010. Hier was het thema Angst.
In San Francisco in Januari 2011 was het een open thema, alles mocht…

White Balloon Release:
Its very easy, yet very sweet to do…
Take a number of white helium filled balloons with a cotton string.
Also bring a bunch of markers, for instance, poscka or sharpies will work fine.
The 3rd thing you need is a group of people that will support you in carrying the balloons.
We also use special balloon transporter boxes, which hold up to 75 balloons. The last thing handy is some scissors, to cut the cotton string (don’t use plastic or ribbon, its bad for nature and could potentially get hooked by electrical lines causing power outages)

The last thing to do is to pick a theme.
In New York we used “Let go of fear, Let Love Win”
Now just go out there and ask people if they would like to let go of something by writing or drawing it on a balloon.
Then let go of it!
